Biography
Petra Perner (IAPR Fellow) is the director of the IBaI. She received her Diploma degree in electrical engineering and her PhD degree in computer science for the work on “Data Reduction Methods for Industrial Robots with Direct Teach-in-Programingâ€. Her habilitation thesis was about “A Methodology for the Development of Knowledge-Based Image-Interpretation Systems". She has been the principal investigator of various national and international research projects. She received several research awards for her research work and has been awarded with 3 business awards for her work on bringing intelligent image interpretation methods and data mining methods into business.

Image analysis and interpretation, machine learning, data mining, big data, machine learning, image mining and case-based reasoning.
Biography
Dr. Chap Le is a distinguished professor in the School of Public Health and Director of Biostatistics for the Masonic Cancer Center at The University of Minnesota. He is the author of several textbooks, including "Applied Categorical Data Analysis and Translational Research' (Wiley, 2010) and "Introductory Biostatistics" (Wiley, 2016). He authored or co-authored almost 200 research articles in Biostatistics and Biomedical Science journals. His current research focus is in translational research, combination chemotherapy, and personalized medicine.

Data-driven and include epidemiological methods, cross-over designs, survival analysis, ordered alternatives, ROC curves, and methods for the analysis of In Vitro experiments - especially Chemo-combination therapy, cancers and tobacco research
Biography
Yedidi Narasimha Murty obtained Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Andhra University, India in 1998 with Computational Fluid Dynamics as specialization. Yedidi continued his research work at Andhra University with CSIR fellowship till March-2000. Yedidi worked as Research Associate with CSIR fellowship at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. Since December-2005, Yedidi is Architecting Data warehousing solutions for clients like – Optus-Australia, Ford, Travelers, BestBuy, GE Commercial Finance, PayPal, Bank of the West. Yedidi is currently working with Electronic Arts as BI Solutions Architect. He designed and modeled several solutions on Risk, Payment Transaction processing that is useful for the data driven business enablement. He is editorial board member for “World Journal of Mechanics†and “Fluid Mechanis: Open Accessâ€. He reviewed 50+ research papers for various journals
